Vocabulary
  1. Tundra - One of the vast, nearly level, Treeless plains of the arctic region.
  2. Stout - Strong figure or bulky figure
  3. Rudder pedals - Used to control a plane.
  4. stricken - Deeply affected by emotions
  5. grimace - A expression often ugly.

Predictions
  1. Crash in the lake
  2. Brian is going to jump into the lake
  3. Brian has to survive by himself
  4. The pilot dies
  5. He is going to struggle because he is a city boy.

Chapter Two
  1. C.B Radio - a radio you can communicate
  2. Transmission - Something is transmitting from something.
  3. internal - situated or existing in the interior of something
  4. Altitude - How high you are above the earth.
  5. Groundspeed/airspeed - The speed on the ground and in the air.

  2. Horizon - When it looks like the earth meets the sky.

  2. Rueful - You regret something you did

  2. Diarrhoea - When you poop is in a liquid form constantly

Segment - A piece of something
granite - A very hard rock.
accomplish - achieve something successfully.
